NHS and private flu jabs, from early autumn each year.
Every autumn Great Hollands Pharmacy offers the flu vaccination: free on the NHS for those who are eligible, and privately for everyone else. It is quick, it is on your doorstep, and it is the best protection against a winter of flu.
On the NHS
The NHS flu vaccine is free for people aged 65 and over, people with certain long-term conditions, pregnant women, carers, frontline health and social care workers and some other groups. If you think you may be eligible, ask us and we will check.
Privately
If you are not eligible on the NHS you can still have the flu jab here privately. Ask us for this season's price.
What happens at your appointment
We start with a short, private chat about your health, any medicines you take and any allergies, so we can check the service is right for you.
The vaccine is given in the upper arm and takes a moment. You can carry on with your day straight afterwards.
